How to Solve Density Aquarium Puzzles
The Density Aquarium puzzle is a logic-based game where oil floats on water,
and aquariums hold liquids according to physics rules.
This solver helps you quickly find the correct solution by ensuring oil stays
above water and all aquariums follow gravity.
- The first two columns and rows are indicators for oil and water in each row/column.
- The top row/left column indicate oil (red), while the bottom row/right column indicate water (blue).
- Other numbers indicate which aquariums (cell group) each cell belongs to.
- Aquariums are contained groups of cells which can hold water and oil.
- Due to gravity, the water or oil level in any given aquarium will be level horizontally.
- Due to density, oil floats on water. Oil will never be below water.
- Every aquarium with oil must also contain water, so oil can't exist alone but water can.
- Not all aquariums need to be filled completely; some may even be empty.
